Hackney Central Library

Welcome to the Central Library in the London Borough of Hackney.

When you visit the library you will get a warm welcome from Sue, the Library Manager and Lydia, a Customer Services Assistant. Both have been working at the library for some time and are both very keen to support the Outside Story Project. Both enjoy reading, especially Lydia who is involved in a number of Reading Groups.

Did you know that as well as the lending library, there is a large information and reference library with many books on local history. You can also use the computers in the library and access the on-line reference resources as well as surfing the net.
